Ark Homeschool Group

ARK is a community of supportive and friendly families who are providing a home-based education for our children. We are an inclusive community who offers support, friendship, and a wide variety of bi-weekly activities for home schoolers of all ages.

Our goal is to build a community of families who are committed to nurturing long term relationships with other home schoolers, participating and/or coordinating activities/field trips and providing a safe, trusting environment for our children to grow.

A.R.K. Field Trip - Friday, January 5th

BANK OF AMERICA STADIUM TOUR

Home of the Carolina Panthers

Time: 10:00-11:00 a.m. - Meet at the entrance off Morehead Street by 9:45

We will get to tour the visitor locker room, press room and several other areasof the Stadium.

A souvenir will also be given to each person at the end of the tour.

Cost Per Person: $3

We believe that active participation in ARK Home School Support Group is an effective way to achieve our goals and to insure our success.

We value trust in each other and ourselves. We believe each person, child or adult, is on his or her own path in learning and life. Our goal is to offer support, encouragement and friendship for this journey. When we trust each other, we develop respect for each other’s choices and decisions as learners, and as individuals.

~ Truth ~

We trust that each ARK Home School Support Group member will do their best to honestly communicate their personal boundaries while at the same time listen with compassion to other’s attempt at defining theirs. We strive to cultivate respect, understanding and empathy for each other because we understand these are essential components of solid relationships.
